Description

The largest unlidded Sucre (sugar) pot stands 16 cm tall, 13 cm wide and 9.5 cm deep. The lidded Cafe (coffee) jar measures 19 cm tall including it’s lid, 12 cm wide and 9 cm deep. The lidded Pates (pasta) jar measures 14 cm high, 10 cm wide and 7 cm deep. Next is the unlidded The (tea) jar at 9.5 cm tall, 7.5 cm wide and 6 cm deep. Finally, the baby of the collection, Epices (spices) lidded jar at 10cm tall, 6 cm wide and 5 cm deep.

The overall condition is commensurate with the age of the jars – the glaze has a wonderful craze to it with some historical discolouration which adds to their charm and history. There are some tiny dinks to the glaze and a couple of hairline cracks but nonee of this detracts from their beauty.

Pieces bought from L&N have had a previous life, therefore may show signs of wear consistent with use and age
