Deliveries + Returns

DELIVERY

We use a combination of delivery options depending on the size and weight of your order

You are more than welcome to collect from Lamb & Newt by specifying ‘collection’ during the checkout process.  Please contact Lamb & Newt to arrange a mutually convenient time for collection.  Change to:  You are more than welcome to collect from Lamb & Newt by specifying ‘Local Pickup’ during the checkout process and choosing your collection time. Our collection point is based in Harting, 4 miles from Petersfield, Hampshire.

In normal circumstances you should receive your order within 2-10 working days. If you need your order urgently please contact us before placing the order and we may be able to quote for a faster delivery.

  • Overseas – L&N currently do not deliver overseas, however in some circumstances we may be able to arrange overseas delivery. Please contact L&N to discuss.

It is important for us that your item arrives in good condition.  All care and attention will be taken by Lamb & Newt to pack items appropriately.  We will use a variety of delivery methods, some of which may require a signature.

Delivery of items will be to the entrance of the property address unless by prior arrangement.

 

Undelivered goods returned by the Shipper

 

To ensure safe receipt of your purchase please ensure the following:

  • That your address is accurate, particularly the post code
  • That it is an address where someone is in attendance to receive your delivery
  • That we have your permission to give your email address and telephone number to enable the Shipper to contact you about delivery.
  • That the goods purchased (larger items) are able to fit through access points and into the space intended. No refund will be given for items which do not fit.

 

If delivery is unsuccessful, the goods may be returned to us incurring an additional delivery charge.  If this happens you will be charged by us for the cost of the goods being returned at the same rate you originally paid for delivery. If the Shipper has charged us more than the Shipping Fee, we will deduct the higher amount from your refund.

 

NOTE that, because we have to pay The Shipper for both journeys, you will not get back your Shipping Fee and you will be charged the cost to us of returning your goods.  We will then refund you the difference.  In this eventuality the customer will need to contact Lamb & Newt to arrange re-delivery.

 

RETURNS

 Almost all our products are vintage or antique and have been pre-owned and previously used.  We are unable to offer refunds on any of our vintage products.  We aim to provide as much information as possible and supply as many pictures as we can to allow you to make an informed decision on your purchase.

 

We endeavour take great care when packaging our goods.  Please contact us immediately if you feel that goods have been damaged in transit so we can immediately investigate this.   We will endeavour to resolve the situation as soon as possible.  Please retain all packaging and take photographs of the condition of the packaging, the damage incurred to the item/s as we will require these.

 

New items may be returned and fully refunded within 14 days of receipt.  All shipping costs to be covered by the customer.
