Majestic set of four Victorian ‘Coalbrookdale’ cast iron garden chairs; the curved spoon back with oval pierced medallion, adorned with pendants and scrollwork. The circular seat has a pierced radiating pattern, raised on elaborate cabriole shaped legs. Wonderful heavy weight. English c.1880.

From what we have learnt, these beautiful chairs feel original. We can’t find a foundry mark so they are priced as good copies from the same period… so hopefully an amazing buy for a lucky someone!
