L&N TERMS + CONDITIONS

 

Please read our Terms and Conditions prior to placing your order with Lamb & Newt Ltd, Company Registration Number 12562933. Acceptance of your order will be on the understanding that you have read, fully understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.  If you require further clarification of any details please contact us (contact hyperlink – hello@lambandnewt.com).  None of these Terms and Conditions affect your statutory rights.

 

OUR PRODUCTS

 

Lamb & Newt Ltd re-invent and re-love mix-century design and objects for your everyday living.  The majority of items sold by Lamb & Newt Ltd are vintage used items that have been preowned / preloved.  Items sold will vary in age from antique (more than 100 years old) to more recent manufacture.

 

We endeavour to describe items honestly and accurately in terms of age, wear, dimension and colour.

 

Age:                 Any dates provided are indications of age only

Wear:              Items bought from Lamb & Newt are used items and may show wear and tear consistent with their age – often this is what gives them their patina and character

Dimension:      For all items we provide approximate dimensions so if you require exact measurements please contact us prior to buying.

Colour:            The colours are reproduced as accurately as possible, however there may be slight variations.

Use:                 Some vintage items may not be usable for their original purpose but are beautiful in their own right for decorative purposes.  Accordingly, we cannot offer any guarantees on vintage goods.  Use of modern ovens, dishwashers and washing machines can be detrimental to vintage items.

Safety:             Given the nature of vintage items, we are unable to give any performance or safety guarantees and would advise customers to conduct their own safety assessment.  Reupholstered items will adhere to current fire safety regulations however we cannot say the same for vintage items that have not been reupholstered by Lamb & Newt Ltd and as such, customers take full responsibility for using them in a private dwelling.

We are happy to answer any questions/queries and would much rather our customers make an informed decision before committing to buy.  Please do not hesitate to contact us 

 

ORDERING AND ORDER CANCELLATION

 

We make every effort to ensure all products are correctly listed on our website and are available at the time of purchase. Very occasionally errors may be made where items are no longer available.

We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:

  • we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;
  • we do not deliver to your area; or
  • one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error.

 

If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will refund you by the payment method you used.  We will do this as soon as possible, but in any event within 30 days of your order.  We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

 

If you see anything which is no longer in stock or you are searching for a particular item please contact us by email and we will endeavour to assist you in sourcing the item you require.
